The purpose of this project was to create a logo, a direct mail ad, and a black and white ad for a newspaper for a diner with a 1980's theme.
With such a broad pallet to draw from I focused my attention on the pop movement. Bringing in the bright colours helped identity the era. The use of fonts that were not traditional and had a slightly digital feel to them also set the stage. The use of many fonts was also intentional as it follows the styling of many ads of the age.
